Your questions answered

Where will I be screened?

Faridia Healthcare has access to hundreds of venues across the UK and we ensure all screenings take place in private consultation rooms. Alternatively, if you are a business customer you can choose to have health assessments at your work place.

What happens on the day?

All of our screenings are undertaken by Faridia Clinical Practitioners. This means you receive the highest quality of care. All procedures will be explained to you before taking place and results will be interpreted to you without unnecessary jargon. All patients will receive a health pack that contains their results, advisories and recommended literature. In the circumstance that any follow up/referral is required then we will give you a letter to give to your GP.

How shall I prepare for my assessment?

After making a booking you will be sent a pre-assessment questionnaire that you will need to complete and bring to your health screening. This questionnaire helps us to assess your lifestyle and healthcare needs. If there is anything you are unsure of then leave the section blank and our staff will be more then willing to assist you on the day.

Am I required to eat or fast on the day of my assessment?

At Faridia Healthcare we use the latest screening equipment to ensure our patients have the least amount of hassle. This means you do not have to fast prior to your assessment. However, we do advise that you do not drink any caffeinated drinks or eat a large meal 2 hours prior to your screening.

Are my results kept confidential?

All results are kept 100% confidential and we do not share your information with any third party companies. Results will not be shared with your GP or private consultant unless you give consent to do so.

I am having the assessment arranged through my employer. Will my results be shared with them?

We do not share any screening results or advisories with your employer. This allows for more accurate assessments and greater patient confidentiality. We will provide your employer with general advice on how to improve health in the workplace but this will never be specific to your consultation.

Can I bring a chaperone?

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own chaperone. Alternatively if you would like us to arrange a chaperone please let us know at least 5 working days prior to your screening and we can arrange this.

What if I need to cancel/rearrange my appointment?

We understand there may be circumstances where you may need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. As long as you let us know at least 24 hours before your consultation we will be able to cancel/rearrange your appointment. Non-attendance or on the day cancelations will incur a 25% fee charge.
